A staple of South Portland and a name known across the country, the Howard Johnson Hotel is now under the ownership of New-Gen Hospitality. The transaction closed on May 27, 2011 between New-Gen Hospitality and Wason Associates who represented the previous owners, Zyracorp Inc., based in Bedford NH, who have owned and operated the hotel for many years.

Wason Associates Negotiates the Sale of the Muddy Rudder Restaurant in Yarmouth, Maine

One of the most highly visible restaurants on the coast of Maine, the Muddy Rudder, was transferred on May 16, 2011 to Granite Hospitality LLC. The transaction was negotiated by Wason Associates, the seller was the Chafee Restaurant Corporation, a subsidiary of the Maine Course Hospitality Group, based in Freeport Maine.
