Plattsburgh is a city located in Clinton County, New York, just off the Adirondack Northway Interstate 87, less than 45 minutes from the Canadian border. . Plattsburgh is home to several State University of New York (SUNY) educational institutions. Plattsburgh State University has an average enrollment of 5,400 undergraduate students and 700 graduate students. Originally known as a "teacher's college," today the university offers a wide variety of majors. Clinton Community College (CCC), also a member of SUNY, offers outstanding two year degree programs and online courses. Renowned for its Nursing and Criminal Justice Degree Program's, CCC has a state of the art technical / science center, fitness building, and dormitories.
