The Village Country Inn, a Clarion Collection Choice Hotel, was built in 1889, originally built as a private home as is custom for many bed and breakfast/Inns. Up to 80 people can be accommodated indoors or 150 in an outside tent. A meeting facility could be built where the tent is used by a new owner. The restaurant was operated by the Inn owners until 2001 when it was leased to an outside group for five years. The lease is now expired and the restaurant is only utilized for breakfast and special occassions.
